The Power of Praise
We have so much to worship God for. Every day that we wake up and take another breath is another blessing. But we all get caught up in the day-to-day struggles and sometimes, we let praise sit on the back burner of our lives.
Sometimes, we find ourselves focusing on our problems instead of God’s promises. We find ourselves filling our time with worldly things or things that are not lifting us up. Sometimes, we feel weary and destroyed; how could we give God praise when we feel like this?
But there’s power in praise.
As we see in the book of Acts, worshipping in the face of trial works miracles. It can transform your situation and your attitude.
“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.” Acts 16:25-26
When we make the choice to give God praise every day, no matter what we may be dealing with, we’re choosing freedom and resting in Him.
